The Role and Your Impact Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all production activities related to the department to which they are assigned. More specifically, the main responsibilities and challenges include: Coordinating production activities; Ensuring the efficient use of labor and equipment; Taking actions to achieve operational efficiency targets; Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations; Monitoring and improving departmental performance and productivity; Implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations; Implementing and ensuring compliance with HACCP and SQF programs; Participating in continuous improvement committees and initiatives. Your Qualifications And Strengths 2 to 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing environment (unionized environment considered an asset), or equivalent experience; Education in administration, production management, or human resources/personnel management is considered an asset; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel); Ability to build and maintain strong professional and interpersonal relationships; Strong communication and listening skills; Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement; Strong planning and organizational skills; Demonstrates a high level of professional ethics and integrity.
