Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Yard and Warehouse Receiver position ensures all inbound materials are accurate and of high quality for all our customers. Responsibilities * Receive inbound shipments following our detailed process to ensure accuracy and quality. * Maintain personal and company quality assurance standards as set in corporate program. * Stock items are to be rotated when they are put away. * Keep yard and warehouses clean of debris and well organized. * Provide quality service to customers. * Crosstrain and assist in other yard roles as instructed by supervisor. * Conduct daily check of forklifts to ensure safe operation; report required maintenance or damage. * Work with the Receiving and Warehouse Specialist to ensure materials are stored in safe and proper locations in both the yard and inside warehouses. * Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructed. Qualifications * Forklift experience required. * General shipping and receiving experience an asset. * Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons * Ability to adapt to change. * Dependable and organized. * Excellent time management skills. * Able to follow instructions. * Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times. * Safety oriented.
