Location: Etobicoke, ON Job Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $18/hour + Recruitment Commission Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMPosition Overview We are looking for a motivated, organized, and professional Recruiter & Office Admin to join our team in Etobicoke. This is an entry-level opportunity suitable for a recent college graduate or an individual with customer service or retail experience who has strong communication skills and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment, candidate screening, job postings, front desk operations, and general office administration. The role requires someone who is comfortable interacting with candidates, clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other channels. Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future opportunities. Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings. Assess candidates based on skills, communication, reliability, and suitability for available positions. Prepare and maintain shortlists for volume hiring requirements. Maintain accurate candidate records and screening feedback in JobsInGTA. Conduct reference checks when required. Work closely with the offshore recruitment team to support candidate sourcing and recruitment activities. Job Postings Create clear and engaging job descriptions and advertisements. Post job opportunities on Indeed, social media, job boards, and other relevant platforms. Monitor applications and follow up with suitable candidates. Support ongoing pool-building activities for various technical and non-technical positions. Front Desk and Office Administration Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in candidates and visitors. Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional front desk environment. Assist with document collection and administrative tasks. Support the team with payroll-related documentation when required. Maintain daily activity records and mail logs. Monitor office supplies and assist with general office administration. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism. Organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable speaking with candidates, visitors, and clients. Basic computer and administrative skills. Previous customer service or retail experience is an asset. Recruitment or staffing experience is not required; training will be provided. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Ability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM in our Etobicoke office. Language Requirements Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Fluency in Filipino/Tagalog is required to effectively communicate with candidates and support recruitment activities.
