We’re looking for a detail-oriented and community-minded Professional Development Registration Coordinator to support the development and implementation of training opportunities for early care and learning professionals, educators, child care providers and parents. Reporting to the CCRR Program Manager or designate, the successful candidate will support the delivery of professional development workshops and events from start to finish. This includes coordinating the registration of workshops and events—assisting with room set up, attendance and certificates—inputting data into the online registration system, and compiling professional development evaluations. The role is also responsible for accounting and cash handling according to policies and procedures, and provides telephone and email support to general program inquiries. Please note that this position must be available to work Saturdays and evenings, and may require work outside normal office hours. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate has Early Childhood Care and Education training or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least three years’ previous experience working with young children and their families. A current Level I First Aid Certificate is required, along with a strong level of computer proficiency. This individual brings demonstrated knowledge of child care issues, trends and practice, and works effectively as part of a staff team. Highly organized, with well-developed planning and administrative skills, they can work independently, set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. They also demonstrate proficiency in written, oral and interpersonal communication, a commitment to a problem-solving approach, strong knowledge of technical systems and basic computer applications, and the ability to identify sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality. This role requires the incumbent to have no relevant criminal history and to undergo an annual successful Criminal Record Check.
