About Bedford Ready Mix Bedford Ready Mix has been in operation since 1985 and is a proud member of the OSCO Concrete. In addition to its shared resources with other OSCO Concrete members, the Bedford location also hosts a four-bay repair facility capable of handling the largest OSCO Concrete pumps in the fleet. This collaboration has made Bedford and its other OSCO Concrete members, one of the largest concrete suppliers in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Bedford performs a mix of residential work along with large-scale industrial/commercial projects. OSCO Concrete also operates a large fleet of concrete pumps, including the largest concrete boom pump east of Montreal. Responsibilities: * Operate concrete pump truck * Safe operation of boom * Operate a ready-mix truck when required * Safe delivery of ready-mix concrete to construction sites * General cleaning and maintenance of truck * Other duties as required. Requirements: * Driver’s license (Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement) * Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience * Previous experience operating boom truck and/or hydraulic equipment * Excellent customer relations * Excellent hand/eye coordination * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Ability to stand for extended periods of time * Ability to lift up to 50lbs About OSCO The origins of the OSCO Construction Group go back to 1955 when Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd. was founded in Saint John, New Brunswick. Requirements
Candidates must hold a Class 3 driver's license with an air brake endorsement and have at least 2 years of commercial driving experience. Previous experience operating boom trucks or hydraulic equipment is also required.
