This role is responsible for conducting routine preventative maintenance, service, repair, and maintenance of plant and facilities equipment in a safe and efficient working manner. Maintaining the safety and reliability of machineries and equipment is critical in achieving optimal production efficiency of the plant operations and production. DAY TO DAY * Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications. * Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment. * Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery. * Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, feeler gauges etc. * Troubleshooting any issues with hydraulic systems. * Perform general facility maintenance. * Participate in fumigation/heat treatment. Note: working in higher temperatures is involved during fumigation. * Complete and comply with all health, safety and food safety training relating to the job. * Ability to complete fall arrest, forklift, telehandler, and scissor lift training. The Certified Millwright is responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, and alignment of plant machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency. They will also perform general facility maintenance and troubleshoot hydraulic systems while adhering to strict safety and food safety standards.

Candidates must be certified Journeyperson Millwrights or at least a 3rd-year apprentice with experience in welding and fabrication. The role requires the ability to work in physically demanding environments and the capacity to lift up to 25 kg.
