This role is responsible for conducting routine preventative maintenance, service, repair, and maintenance of plant and facilities equipment in a safe and efficient working manner. Maintaining the safety and reliability of machineries and equipment is critical in achieving optimal production efficiency of the plant operations and production. DAY TO DAY * Assemble, align, dismantle and position stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications. * Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment. * Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery. * Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, feeler gauges etc. * Troubleshooting any issues with hydraulic systems. * Perform general facility maintenance. * Participate in fumigation/heat treatment. Note: working in higher temperatures is involved during fumigation. * Complete and comply with all health, safety and food safety training relating to the job. * Ability to complete fall arrest, forklift, telehandler, and scissor lift training. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: * Candidates who are certified Journeyperson Millwrights or are currently registered as a 3rd-year apprentice (or above) will be considered. * Welding and fabrication experience * Able to work in dusty, hot, and outdoor environments * Knowledge of quality control and BRCGS standards * Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Available for on-call work depending on business need WHY JOIN US At P&H, our people are our priority.
