Job Title: Business Analyst (Private Equity) Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2-3 Days/Week Onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD $80-90/hr Incorporated Application Deadline: September 20th, 2026 Job Summary We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong Private Equity (PE) Valuations domain expertise to support the design and implementation of a data-intensive valuation workflow. The role will own end-to-end process mapping, define requirements and acceptance criteria, and act as the key liaison between PE Valuations, deal teams, and engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of trading comparables, precedent transactions, EV bridges, multiple selection, and IFRS fair value requirements, along with experience in data modeling, schema design, UAT, and financial accuracy validation. Key Responsibilities: Map end-to-end PE valuation workflows, including inputs, transformations, outputs, and dependencies. Define requirements, acceptance criteria, review gates, and configurable valuation parameters. Manage data schemas, field definitions, source hierarchies, and controlled vocabularies. Collaborate with valuation, deal, and engineering teams to resolve design decisions. Validate prototype outputs against real deal team models for accuracy and auditability. Coordinate UAT and develop test cases for financial accuracy.
