PAL Airlines is seeking a part-time Cargo Agent to join our St. John's, NL team. Duties and Responsibilities: Accepting and handling cargo Screening, scanning & sorting cargo. Warehouse duties Loading/Unloading aircraft in all weather conditions. Operate Forklift Provide internal and external customer support Perform general office duties as required. General accounting and completion of daily sales reports. Other Duties assigned. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service and/or warehouse in a fast-paced environment. Must possess exceptional customer service skills. Must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills as this position requires on the spot decision making. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct. Must be able to perform repetitive lifting. Persons with airline ground/cargo operations experience as well as RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator Permit) will be given preference. Requirements
Requires at least two years of customer service and/or warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment, strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct and perform repetitive lifting; airline ground or cargo operations experience, a RAIC, and an AVOP are preferred.
