Job summary
You will be the primary point of contact for the IT Help Desk, providing support to end users. There are opportunities to lead small scale IT projects from concept through to implementation, as well as room to create internal solutions that will benefit external departments. This position provides the successful applicant with a unique opportunity to develop their skills and experience across the many different business units that it takes to run a mountain resort. These include lodging, food and beverage, guest services, mountain operations, retail and rental. Essential functions: Provide support to end users for all resort systems (Windows, Office365, VOIP, POS systems, etc). Manage onboarding and offboarding of staff accounts through Office 365 and Active Directory. Assist IT Systems Administrator with management of network and server systems. Contribute to IT knowledge base. Work over Saturday/Sunday, especially in summer and winter may be required. Education/Experience: Diploma or 1 year of IT support experience in a corporate network environment. Excellent customer service skills. Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server. Experience with Linux a plus. Basic understanding of networking a plus. Experience with VoIP telephone technology a plus. Point of Sale system support experience with RTP a plus Point of Sale system support experience for Retail, F&B and Lodging systems and payment processing a plus. Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly. Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well with a diverse team of people. Honesty and confidentiality are a must. Requirements
Requires a diploma or at least one year of corporate IT support experience. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills and proficiency with Windows environments, with additional knowledge of Linux or networking considered an asset.
