Job Description The Human Resources Administrator (Onboarding and Engagement Partner) provides local HR expertise to a District. This includes full cycle employee onboarding, retention and off-boarding. This individual also supports management with various HR functions as required. Why You’ll Love Working Here Celebration and Recognition programs Comprehensive health and dental benefit plans Education allowance for employees and family Opportunities for career advancement Employee Assistance Program Employee perks and exclusive offers What You’ll Do Process new hire paperwork including capturing results for criminal background checks and vulnerable sector results Coordinate and conduct general onboarding for new hires on their first day of employment Administer payroll and benefit paperwork for new and existing employees Abide by Human Resources policies according to union collective agreements, company policies and provincial and federal legislation including Employment Standards Act Serve as the initial point of contact for all employee related inquiries Research, identify and analyze specific employee relations concerns under direction of management Provide exit interviews and ensure employee is off-boarded Support management in the presentation of in-services and general training to client group about general and specific human resources issues, policies, procedures, and documentation What You Bring Minimum two years’ experience in a human resource role Competent working knowledge of Human Resources including: Recruitment and Selections, employee relations, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Training and Development and applicable legislation (ESA, Human Rights, WSIB) Experience in health care preferred Familiar with unions and collective agreements. Requirements
