The role involves building reliable solutions using <b>JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, Node.js</b>, and <b>NPM</b> while collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and design teams.</p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality, secure, and stable software</li> <li>Build and maintain web-based solutions that support cross-platform development and experiences</li> <li>Participate in software design and code reviews</li> <li>Develop task estimates, evaluate risks, and identify dependencies to support project planning</li> <li>Work collaboratively with software engineers, QA professionals, and designers across Toronto and other engineering locations.</li> <li>Contribute to discussions around software architecture and design</li> <li>Support the development of solutions that deliver a high-quality customer experience</li> <li>Work as part of a collaborative engineering team to achieve shared technical and product goals</li> </ul> <p><b>Must-Have Skills</b></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role</li> <li>Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Hands-on professional experience developing production software with AI coding assistants such as <b>Claude Code, Cursor</b>, or <b>GitHub Copilot</b> as part of a daily development workflow</li> <li>Professional experience with <b>JavaScript</b> and <b>TypeScript</b> for client-side web development</li> <li>Hands-on experience with <b>React</b> and <b>Redux</b> frameworks</li> <li>Experience working with <b>Node.js</b> and <b>NPM</b></li> <li>Experience with web-based technologies, concepts, and development constructs</li> <li>Strong interest in software architecture and design</li> <li>Experience with <b>Git</b> and <b>GitHub</b> for source control</li> <li>Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering and cross-functional teams</li> <li>Commitment to continuous technical and professional development</li> <li>Commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience</li> </ul> <p><b>Nice-to-Have Skills</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience developing web applications using modular and componentized approaches</li> <li>Experience working with Agile methodology</li> <li>Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines</li> <li>Familiarity with test automation tools and strategies</li> </ul> <p>Interested in this opportunity?
