This role is essential in delivering Forbes 5-Star service , where attention to detail, warm and genuine interactions, and intuitive service are paramount. Key Responsibilities: Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests as they arrive, using their name whenever possible Provide information about menus, promotions, and special offerings with genuine enthusiasm Anticipate guest needs and offer thoughtful assistance with directions or seating preferences Maintain a polished and professional demeanor at all times, with attention to grooming and body language Assist with answering phones and scheduling reservations or follow-up appointments Keep the entrance and host stand area tidy, organized, and inviting Communicate any guest concerns or issues promptly to the appropriate manager or security Uphold and incorporate Forbes 5-Star standards in all interactions, including: Personalized greetings Use of the guest’s name Professional tone and language Gracious closing remarks Genuine interest in guest comfort and satisfaction Qualifications Service focused personality is essential Previous fine dining or luxury level service knowledge and training. Minimum 2 year previous work experience in a world-class luxury brand in a similar capacity. Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality driven Excellent communication skills Constant walking & standing All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in Canada.
