Park Paving is a locally owned and operated company and has been in business for over 50 years as one the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. We are looking for a steady JOURNEYMAN/WOMAN HEAVY DUTY FIELD TECHNICIAN who can be responsible for a variety of duties related to heavy duty equipment service and repair. This position will be primarily based out of our Maintenance Shop location in Sherwood Park, AB. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive wages and benefits. The successful candidate's primary duties will include, but are not limited to: Coordinating with supervisors, administration, and workers, for the purpose of completing all work orders efficiently and effectively Work under limited supervision, leading, guiding and working with others, as required Fill out required paperwork. This would include forms such as work orders, hazard assessment sheets, daily time sheets, repair list Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, and replace, parts and equipment/controls as required Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of all equipment or assets Working alone in the field servicing heavy duty equipment Complete CVIP inspections preferred but not mandatory Compile a list of repairs needed during your inspection and go over with your direct report for repair authorization Fill out and hand in work orders upon job completion Keep your work areas, benches, and toolboxes clean and organized Requirements: CVIP license is preferred but not mandatory Journeyman Mechanic (preferred) Trade Certificate (preferred) Benefits: Dental care Extended health care RRSP match Vision care Successful candidates will be licensed or apprentice Heavy Duty Technicians with a valid driver license and have a strong operating knowledge of a wide range of heavy-duty equipment that will allow them to effectively diagnose and repair any potential problem in conjunction with their direct supervisors, and other employees while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment. *** Successful candidates must have a driving record free of major infractions, and must pass a medical/fitness exam, as conditions of employment. *** #PPLHP

Requirements
