We’re Hiring an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon – Part-Time | Hamilton, ON Dundurn Dental Specialty is looking for a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our beautiful new specialty clinic in Hamilton, Ontario. This is a flexible part-time opportunity, initially offering a couple of days per month, with the opportunity to grow into additional days as the clinic and referral network continue to expand. About Dundurn Dental Specialty Dundurn Dental Specialty is a modern, multidisciplinary specialty clinic designed to support complex care, advanced surgical services, and a seamless referral experience. Conveniently located near McMaster Children’s Hospital and Highway 403, the clinic features advanced imaging, sedation capabilities, and a purpose-built environment for specialty dentistry. The Opportunity As our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, you will play an important role in developing the clinic’s surgical program while working closely with referring dentists and other dental specialists. What You’ll Do Diagnose and surgically manage complex oral and maxillofacial conditions Perform surgical extractions, impacted tooth removal, bone grafting, implant placement, and related procedures Provide appropriate sedation services in accordance with regulatory and patient safety standards Collaborate with referring dentists and specialists on comprehensive treatment plans Educate patients on treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation What You’ll Bring Board Certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – required Specialist registration and good standing with the RCDSO Strong surgical judgment and clinical expertise Experience with sedation and surgical case management Excellent communication with patients and referring clinicians Collaborative, professional, and patient-focused approach Interest in helping grow a developing specialty practice Engagement Details This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity. Engagement and compensation are governed by an executed independent contractor agreement. This is not an employee position.
