Reporting to the VP, FP&A, the Manager, FP&A - Property & Casualty will partner with the VP to serve as a trusted finance business partner to the P&C leadership team and their respective teams. The role is responsible for end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting and consolidation, management reporting, detailed variance analysis, and decision support. The Manager will take full ownership of the underlying financial models, continuously improve the quality and accuracy of budgets and forecasts, and support business cases and other strategic and operational priorities across the segment. The Manager, FP&A will: Partner with the VP, FP&A to act as a trusted finance business partner to the P&C leadership team and their respective teams, providing insight, challenge, and decision support across financial and operational matters. Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial planning for the P&C segment. Own month-end and quarterly financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring accurate, timely, and decision-useful management reporting. Prepare detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, clearly explaining key drivers, business implications, risks, and opportunities. Take full ownership of the underlying financial models, assumptions, data integrity, and supporting schedules used for planning, forecasting, and reporting. Continuously improve forecast accuracy and budget quality by refining assumptions, strengthening driver-based models, and incorporating business and operational insights. Build strong relationships with P&C leaders and their teams to understand business performance, key value drivers, emerging trends, and financial impacts. Develop and evaluate business cases for growth initiatives, investments, operational changes, and other strategic priorities, including scenario and sensitivity analysis. Support management in identifying, evaluating, and tracking opportunities to improve growth, profitability, efficiency, and resource allocation. Translate complex financial results into clear, concise, and actionable insights for senior management. Ensure financial reporting and planning processes comply with internal controls, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Identify and implement finance best practices, process improvements, and reporting enhancements that strengthen business partnership and decision support. Lead special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis as required. To be successful as a Manager, FP&A with People Corporation, you will need: University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 5-7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Finance, and/or Accounting, with demonstrated experience supporting business leaders. CPA designation preferred. Strong understanding of financial metrics, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis, and analytical tools. Demonstrated experience building, owning, and improving financial models and planning processes. Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand business drivers and translate financial information into practical, actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines. High level of accountability, adaptability, curiosity, and ownership. Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships. Strong facilitation skills and the ability to challenge constructively and drive alignment across teams. Continuous improvement orientation with a focus on forecast quality, efficiency, and value creation. Salary Range The base salary for this position is between $105,000 - $120,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
