Working cohesively within a team of employment/career professionals, the candidate will be responsible for delivering both in-house and outreach services to our clients and community partners. The ideal candidate will be highly dynamic, organized and detail oriented, with outstanding people skills. The Career Development Practitioner / Facilitator needs to be skilled in: Facilitating a wide range of job search related workshops either in-person or in a hybrid online environment. Working with clients, individually and in group settings, to guide them towards taking charge of their own job search / career development path. Coachable and open to feedback, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Experienced in facilitating diverse groups, including individuals facing complex barriers and challenges. Adaptable to changing client, partner, and organizational needs in a dynamic service environment. Able to shift seamlessly between workshop facilitation, outreach, partnership engagement, and client support activities. Comfortable delivering services in a variety of settings, including on-site, off-site, virtual, and community-based locations. Flexible and responsive when priorities, programs, or service delivery approaches evolve. Preparing and facilitating group sessions tailored to the needs of community partners. Keeping group discussions focused while encouraging participation from everyone. Adapting content as needed and adjusting the sessions according to individual or group needs. Communicating effectively includes demonstrating superior listening skills. MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel, as well as Outlook and internet browsers Job Requirements University degree or combination of training and experience in the fields of Employment, Human Services, Educations or Human Resources Experience delivering services and support in a client-centered work environment Excellent grasp of the English Language (both written and verbal) Knowledge of French, Arabic, or another languages would be an asset.
