Job summary
Location: Montreal, QC (St. Laurent) Onsite / Hybrid Montreal (St. Laurent) Our client is a 20-year import, export and distribution business in branded consumer products, connecting buyers who want those products at discounted prices with sellers clearing close-outs, stock lots and surplus inventory through a global network. This role sits at the centre of that trade, and it exists to keep the buy side, the sell side and the operation behind them moving as one. You'll own the full commercial cycle. On the buy side: supplier relationships, pricing, terms and purchase agreements. On the sell side: commercial terms with customers, with direct accountability for margin and sales growth. Sourcing costs, stock levels and demand planning sit with you, not beside you. Day to day you'll run end-to-end order processing for both purchase and sales orders, entry through invoicing, and direct inventory control, stock accuracy and month-end reconciliation. You'll coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, logistics scheduling and freight documentation with the warehouses, and build the reports and dashboards that track purchasing, sales, inventory and margin performance in Excel and internal systems. You'll also supervise the support staff handling order processing and administration. This one suits someone commercially sharp and operationally disciplined: strong negotiating on both sides of a deal, advanced in Excel, happy to set the standard for how the operation runs and then roll their sleeves up when volume demands it. Excellent English required, French an asset.
