Role Description The Pharmacist will work part time on-site at the pharmacy in Niagara Falls, ON, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, counseling patients on proper medication use, and answering questions about side effects, dosages, and health conditions. The role also involves collaborating with prescribers, maintaining accurate patient records, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The Pharmacist will support inventory management, participate in quality assurance activities, and contribute to a positive, respectful, and service-oriented environment. Qualifications Current license and good standing as a Pharmacist with the appropriate provincial regulatory body (e.g., Ontario College of Pharmacists). Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines, with a commitment to evidence-based practice. Excellent patient communication and counseling skills, including the ability to explain complex information in a clear and compassionate manner. Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, community setting. Comfort with pharmacy management systems ( Propel RX electronic health records, and basic digital tools. Previous experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting is an asset. Availability to work part-time hour ( 9-6 pm ) and some saturdays (9-1 pm ) ..part time hours meaning anywhere from 1-2 days a week
