Position Summary Reporting to the Facility Sales & Operations Manager, the Part-Time Seasonal Arena Operator is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of the arena and surrounding facility. This role helps ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users while supporting a variety of events and activities. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain the Zamboni and related arena equipment. Prepare and maintain quality ice surfaces for scheduled rentals and events. Maintain cleanliness of dressing rooms, public areas, and arena spaces. Set up and tear down for events, rentals, and community programs. Provide courteous and professional customer service to facility users. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous arena or facility maintenance experience is considered an asset. Experience operating a Zamboni is preferred; training could be provided to the successful candidate. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious. Working Conditions Seasonal, part-time position. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Hours will vary based on facility programming and operational needs. Why Join Our Team?
