The role We're looking for a Toronto-based freelance photographer who can own one shoot a month from start to finish. You won't just be pressing the shutter. You'll help plan the shoot, style the scene, source props, and send us edited images ready to use. What you'll do Plan: turn our monthly brief (new launches, seasonal themes, ad needs) into a shot list and mood board Coordinate: book the location or studio, set the schedule, and organize any models or helpers if needed Style and lay out: build flat lays, desk and craft-table scenes, and cozy lifestyle setups that make the products the star Source props: find the extra pieces for each scene (stationery, plants, mugs, fabrics, small decor) within a monthly prop budget Shoot: product-only shots on clean backgrounds, styled lifestyle scenes, close-up details, and hands-in-action process shots Edit and deliver: colour-accurate retouching, cropped for web, Instagram, Pinterest and ads, delivered within an agreed turnaround What we're looking for Based in Toronto or the GTA A portfolio that shows product, flat lay or lifestyle work (craft, stationery, home or small business brands are a big plus) A strong eye for styling, colour and composition, and a cozy, warm, creative feel Organized and reliable: you can run a shoot day without us having to manage every detail Your own camera, lighting and editing software Bonus: short vertical video clips (Reels, TikTok) during shoots, or experience shooting hands for craft and process content The details Freelance / contract, one shoot a month (about 6-8 hours shooting plus planning and editing) Pay: Submit your application with a quote Pixyls owns full usage rights to the final images Products shipped to you or picked up before each shoot Ongoing, with room to grow into more shoots as we expand How to apply Send your portfolio link, a quote, and a few lines about why our products would be fun for you to shoot to rachel@pixyls.ca.
