Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist (only candidates local to GTA and legally able to work will be considered ) Permanent, FT Toronto, ON We are looking for a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruitment team! Bilingualism (French Elementary level or higher) will be considered an asset Reporting to the Director of Business Delivery, the ideal candidate has previous technical recruitment experience, preferably in an agency setting. The ideal candidate is a proactive, technically savvy recruiter who understands the IT talent market and knows how to identify, engage, assess, and manage strong technical candidates. Experience recruiting within an agency or staffing environment is strongly preferred. ***Role is presently remote. Candidate must reside in the GTA for occasional team meetings. *** What You’ll Do Source, attract, recruit, and qualify candidates for contract and permanent IT positions across a variety of technology disciplines. Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn, Boolean searches, networking, referrals, and other sourcing strategies. Partner closely with Account Managers and Directors to understand client requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. Conduct candidate screening, technical qualification, interviews, reference checks, and candidate presentations. Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience. Identify passive candidates through targeted and proactive sourcing. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information and activity within the ATS. Coordinate interviews and provide timely communication and follow-up with candidates and internal stakeholders. Provide market insight regarding candidate availability, compensation expectations, technology trends, and talent pools. Work collaboratively with the recruitment and business development teams to support successful placements. Meet recruitment targets while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy, and candidate experience. Candidate requirements: 2-4 years of technical recruitment experience, preferably in an agency setting. Thorough understanding of technology and technical roles. Previous experience recruiting for both contract and permanent job searches Experience with ATS (Bullhorn), Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter Excellent communication and writing skills, ability to work independently, exceptional attention to detail and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field required. Compensation package: • Salary and commission, employee benefits, vacation, sick days.
