Job summary

Job Location: Toronto, ON & Vancouver, BC. In office position with considerable travel. WHAT YOU GET TO DO: * Build relationships with key contacts in regions, including but not limited to, engineers, architects, acoustical consultants, developers and contractors. * Assist with all aspects of major projects as required in the region that require acoustical design solutions and/or that use Pliteq and competitors’ products in commercial and other building types. * Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Provide technical support during the sales process, including product presentations, demonstrations, completing submittal packages and site visits. * Work with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions that align with their project goals. * Schedule customer facing (in person when applicable, virtual or whatever creative means you can come up with) in order to increase Pliteq’s market share and maintain sold partnerships * Ensure regional models are tailored to maintain a competitive advantage across markets and channels and tied to overall functional unit and Pliteq’s strategy * Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external partners to enhance their understanding of Pliteq’s newest acoustic solutions. Stay proactive in educating the market about the benefits of our solutions. * Assist the product development team in creating new innovative solutions that address a project need. * Assist with demand generation tasks to build up and maintain our sales pipeline * 14 outbound calls per day (as necessary) * Possible travel as necessary * Other duties as desired or needed per operational needs What We Are Ideally Looking For: * You have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field * Excellent communication, presentation, networking and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness to travel throughout North America as needed * Familiarity of building codes, regulations, and standards related to the construction industry and acoustics is an asset but not required. * Some business or sales experience * You seize opportunities and have the drive to push toward goals and tackle demanding tasks * Accountable to your objectives and key results Essentially, we are looking for a Superstar!

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field with some business or sales experience. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel throughout North America.
