Job summary

Our Client: They tackle complex environmental and site rehabilitation challenges that require more than just technical engineering. They're looking for someone who can take a solution from concept to reality, working closely with operations, contractors, and project teams to ensure systems perform as intended in the field. The Need: We're looking for a Process Engineer who understands both the science and the practical realities of environmental treatment and remediation systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and bridging the gap between engineering design and operational execution. What You'll Do: Design, evaluate, and optimize environmental treatment and remediation systems. Support projects from concept and design through procurement, commissioning, and field implementation. Troubleshoot operational challenges and identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency. Work directly with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Develop operating procedures, technical documentation, and process improvement initiatives. Support regulatory compliance and environmental performance objectives. Contribute to the evaluation and deployment of innovative treatment technologies. What You'll Bring to the Table: An engineering degree and eligibility for, or registration as, a P.Eng. Experience designing and implementing treatment, remediation, or environmental process systems. Strong understanding of contaminated sites, soil and groundwater treatment, water treatment, or related environmental technologies. A track record of working in both office and field environments. Practical experience supporting projects through design, construction, commissioning, and operation. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into workable field solutions. What This Role Is NOT A traditional plant management or production supervision position. A purely consulting or desk-based engineering role. A role focused solely on project management without technical involvement. A maintenance-focused operations role responsible primarily for equipment and workforce management. What's In It For You The opportunity to work on technically complex and environmentally meaningful projects. Significant influence over how treatment and remediation systems are designed, implemented, and improved. Exposure to innovative technologies and challenging site conditions. A highly collaborative environment where engineering decisions have a direct impact on operational outcomes. The chance to build practical, real-world solutions rather than simply designing them from a distance.
