This position is located at our Head Office in Saskatoon. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note that occassional travel to site will be required. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the entire project life cycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing project plans, tracking progress, managing resources and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills and a proven track record of successful project management. Responsibilities: Budget and schedule contact with clients during all phases of project; Support team by providing input regarding manpower, equipment and material requirements; Review project schedules and ensure they are updated on a regular basis; Review and monitor schedule and ensure updates are communicated on a regular basis; Communicate accurate bill of materials and requisition requests; Maintain open communication to ensure that all contractual items are captured and risk is minimized; Communicate with cost controller to ensure that all financial data is current and trends are monitored; Maintain project documentation, control drawings and revisions, control and maintain contract change documentation (CIC’s, SI’s, RFI’s); Create and manage monthly project status reports on performance and take any necessary actions to rectify deficiencies; Ensure compliance with local, provincial and federal OH&S and labour laws. Applicants must have at least 5 years' experience overseeing projects. Qualifications: Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree and 3-5 years of experience in project administration, estimating and field administration.
