As a Project Manager within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role at the heart of the Deep Foundations business unit. By leading large-scale construction and infrastructure projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will work closely with our client groups and subcontractors and act as an integral part of our project team. What you will do Grow and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients to achieve the project goals and vision. Support your project management teams to develop and drive the construction schedule ensuring that completion dates and milestones are met. Apply your financial management experience to plan, manage and respect project budgets, costs and associated purchasing. Share your knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members. Be an expert in risk management to ensure any associated project risk is minimized. Take pride in compiling and completing companywide project reports. Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project. This role could be for you if you have 8 years’ experience in Project Management in the construction industry. University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience. Exceptional leadership, organizational prowess, influential abilities, adept problem-solving, ensuring project success amidst diverse challenges. Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, as well as building codes and associated legislation. Be a champion and role model for quality and all health and safety best practices. Experienced working with scheduling software, knowledge and experience working with P6 considered a strong asset.
