As a Proposal Specialist working in our operational support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play an integral role in the development of the technical portion of the RFQ/RFP process. Supporting our attainment of large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will utilize your expertise in translating complex technical details into persuasive narratives and ensuring alignment with project objectives. What You Will Do Strategically analyze the call for tenders (RFQ/RFP) and create structured responses tailored to individual client needs. Prepare and manage proposal schedule, responsibility matrix, and compliance list. Organize and lead bid team meetings including kick-offs, coordination meetings and bid reviews. Strategically identify winning themes and key differentiators. Develop persuasive, high-quality content that showcases Pomerleau’s high standards and expertise. Ensure that all content is well harmonized, coherent and compliant with the bid requirements. Proactively maintain open lines of communication with subject matter experts and other bid team members. Work collaboratively with our graphic designers to create optimized and visually engaging documentation and collateral including templates and styles, cover pages, tabs, and organizational charts. This role could be for you if you have : Proven experience managing proposals in construction, engineering and/or architecture fields. Strong ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, establishing timelines, priorities, etc. Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience working with SharePoint and MS Office Suite. Additional Assets Include Previous experience working on design-build proposals. Fluency in both official languages, written and oral (English and French).
