Job summary

We are looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team! Job Description As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will lead your team in exceeding expectations and creating lasting positive impressions on each guest. Your role is very important because you are your team's leader, teacher, and role model. Additionally, you will achieve excellence by leading your people to make business decisions that are focused on upholding the highest standards in guest service while delivering against key financial goals and performance metrics for the department. You will deliver this leadership throughout the orientation, training, performance management, and communication processes. Key Focuses Ensures the front desk, lobby, and guest entrance are “picture-perfect” for optimal first impressions. Ensures assigned tasks are completed in a manner that does not require follow-up; both in terms of timeliness and quality. Provides direct reports with the resources, direction, coaching, and feedback required for their continuous development. Processes check-ins, check-outs, registers transactions, and provides information on hotel services and room location. Assists staff with problem payments, accurately direct billing companies, and processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Maintains product knowledge of all room types, promotions, rate plans, and hotel and community amenities. Requirements/Experience/Education AB Driver’s License, Class 5 license. Clean Drivers Abstract for the past two years is required Minimum of one year of experience at the front desk or in a full service or select service hotel is required. Knowledge of Lightspeed PMS is an asset. Proficient in English. Tech-savvy. Experience with Microsoft Office. Amazing Perks Competitive wages and Health and Wellness benefit plan. Working Conditions This position may include dayshift, afternoon, or evening shifts any day of the week or weekend and the occasional night audit shift if needed. This position will require long periods of standing and may require lifting and bending. There may be periods of independent work and brief periods of exposure to cold air due to the location of the front desk. This position may occassionally require you to drive a shuttle. Requirements

Requires at least one year of hotel front desk experience and a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract. Proficiency in English, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Lightspeed PMS is preferred.
