POWERGROUP Resources, on behalf of our client Cottage Country Snack Foods, is seeking a motivated Route Sales Representative to maintain and grow an established customer route throughout the Ottawa/Laval/Montreal and Quebec North Regions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy sales, customer relationships, driving and independence. This is a sales-focused position responsible for account growth, merchandising, and relationship management. This job posting is for a current vacancy with our client. Who we are: Cottage Country is a highly recognized Canadian brand, offering premium-quality candies, nuts, and trail mixes that are packed fresh and delivered fresh daily from coast to coast. What you will do: Manage and grow an established customer route Drive profitable sales growth through merchandising, promotions, and relationship building Maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent service Work independently to achieve and exceed sales targets Travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays Operate a 16’ cube truck as part of the route responsibilities Work long hours and in varying weather conditions when required Schedule & Travel Details: 3-week rotation schedule: Approximately 5 nights away from home out of every 15 working days About 33% of the route involves significant driving Week 1: Higher travel volume with significant driving and overnight stays Week 2: Moderate travel with reduced driving time Week 3: Primarily local route with no overnight stays Roughly 50% of the territory is in Quebec A fair amount of driving is required Post-secondary education in business is an asset. Sales, marketing, or merchandising experience required. Experience in route sales or related trade is an asset. Must have the physical ability to lift, reach, and carry products Valid G Drivers License with clean driver’s abstract required Willingness to travel and stay overnight Bilingual (French & English) is an asset. Requirements
