Job summary
PrecisionERP is seeking a Payroll Specialist with 2–3+ years of U.S. and/or Canadian payroll experience. This resource will work an initial 6-month contract onsite with one of our clients. LOCATION: Waterloo, Richmond Hill, or Mississauga, ON (ONSITE 4-5x per week) START DATE: ASAP CONTRACT DURATION: 6 Months (initially) RATE: Up to $28/hr T4 if candidate meets all mandatory requirements (rate will vary slightly if incorporated) DETAILS BELOW: Ideal Candidate Profile A detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with hands-on experience supporting U.S. and/or Canadian payroll. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processing, compliance, reconciliation, and auditing and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict payroll deadlines. Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2–3 years of U.S. and/or Canadian payroll experience. Experience with accurate and timely payroll processing. Experience auditing HR system data and payroll interfaces to ensure accuracy and data integrity. Experience reconciling payroll results, identifying discrepancies, and investigating and resolving payroll issues. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Advanced Excel. Strong understanding of payroll practices, regulations, and compliance. Experience responding to employee payroll inquiries and resolving payroll-related issues. Strong time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
