Position: Billing Coordinator Location: North York, ON Full-time - Permanent The Billing Coordinator role at PRI provides comprehensive training in the company's financial systems, with a particular focus on Deltek, and delivers essential billing support to Project Managers. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing, while supporting efficient month-end billing processes and maintaining the overall integrity of financial operations. Key Responsibilities Billing Support & Processing Assist with the monthly billing cycle, ensuring internal deadlines are consistently met. Generate draft invoices and distribute them to Project Managers (PMs) for review. Enter basic data corrections, transfers, and adjustments into the system under supervision. Prepare final invoice packages for clients, verifying numerical accuracy and formatting compliance. Data Entry & Administration Set up new projects in the financial system, ensuring all contract details are entered accurately. Maintain organized billing files and digital records for audit and reference purposes. Follow up on missing timesheets or expense receipts required for billing. Learning & Development Develop a strong working knowledge of Deltek (ERP software). Learn foundational project accounting concepts, including budget tracking and Work in Progress (WIP). Collaborate with the Finance team to support continuous improvement of internal billing processes. Qualifications Education & Experience Recent graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 0–2 years of experience in an office or administrative environment. 13 Skills & Competencies Strong Excel skills preferred; comfortable working with spreadsheets, formulas, and formatting. High attention to detail with a strong aptitude for working with numbers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident engaging with Project Managers to clarify billing information. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet recurring deadlines. Bonus Qualifications Previous exposure to accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., Deltek) is an asset. Prior experience in a professional services or project-based environment is an advantage.
