Role Description This part-time, contract Sales Associate role is a hybrid position based in Toronto, ON, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home responsibilities. The Sales Associate will support client outreach by scheduling appointments, following up on leads, and providing basic information about Primerica’s financial products and services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting initial client consultations, gathering financial information, and coordinating with licensed representatives for detailed product recommendations. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, assisting with client presentations, and supporting local marketing or informational events. The Sales Associate will collaborate with team members to ensure a positive client experience and may receive training on Primerica’s business model and product offerings. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain information clearly to clients and prospects. Customer service and relationship-building skills, including attentive listening, professionalism, and responsiveness to client needs. Sales aptitude or prior experience in sales, retail, or client-facing roles, with comfort making outbound calls and following up on leads. Basic understanding of financial concepts or interest in learning about life insurance, investments, and related financial products. Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records. Comfort using digital tools such as email, video conferencing, and CRM or data-entry systems; proficiency with standard office software. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, including some evenings or weekends as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is an asset. Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to complete any required licensing or training related to financial services.
