This is a unique opportunity to join our talented team and be part of Primero’s growth and success. Primero is an Australian-founded company, established in 2011 and growing consistently in Montreal since 2016. We expanded into Houston in 2022, Toronto in 2023, and Salt Lake City in 2026, strengthening our North American presence. We specialize in the design, procurement, and construction management of mineral processing plants. This internship is a real opportunity to develop your skills in a hands-on environment while contributing to exciting and large-scale projects. Support our process engineering team in technical design, calculations, and project support as needed, under the supervision of our Process Manager. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation of mass balances, calculations, and equipment sizing. * Help draft technical data sheets, reports, and engineering documents. * Support the design team in developing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and using CAD tools. * Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure the quality of deliverables. * Attend team meetings and help prepare presentations and progress reports What we’re looking for: * Currently in 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mineral Processing Engineering * Strong interest in process design and the mining sector * Curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn in a dynamic environment * Comfortable using Microsoft Office; knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs or simulation tools is a plus * À l’aise avec Microsoft Office; connaissance des PFD, P&ID ou logiciels de simulation est un atout * Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset * Strong analytical, teamwork and problem-solving skills * Available to work in person at our Montreal office, Monday to Friday Internship details: * Paid full-time internship (approximately 15 weeks) * Must be eligible for academic credit within your university program * Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Canada * Social committee, casual atmosphere, quality coffee and fresh fruit every day * Free access to the building’s gym * Possibility of internship extension and/or conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs Send your resume to HR@primero.ca
