Business Analyst On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. Business Analyst - Job Description: The project involves business-as-usual (BAU) operations and aims to backfill a key position within a dynamic team environment. The role focuses on ensuring that the development team delivers customer-focused product increments, aligning with the product vision and maintaining a prioritized product backlog. Business Analyst - Responsibilities: • Partner with management to support the delivery of a product vision • Create and maintain a product backlog, continuously re-prioritizing user stories • Align with senior management on product delivery roadmaps and release cadence • Engage in scrum or Kanban events and suggest improvements • Manage delivery initiatives and oversee development team (pod) backlogs • Proactively address issues that impede efficient delivery of customer-focused increments Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills: • 5-7 years of experience in banking/financial sectors • Prior experience using Scrum/Kanban project management frameworks: 5-7 years • JIRA and Confluence: 5-7 years • Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels • Strong organizational skills • Leadership mindset for leading the pod Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Understanding of Architectural Design • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) • Project management experience Business Analyst – Assignment Length: This is a 12-month contract position with possible extensions based on performance and business needs.
