This position is an onsite position at our client’s Bedford, Nova Scotia office. Mutual Fund Transaction Processing Administrator - Job Description: The Mutual Fund Transaction Processing Administrator will be responsible for pre-screening, preparing, and inputting financial and non-financial transactions by standard cut-off times. The role involves ensuring high accuracy in transaction processing and effective communication with internal and external client groups. Mutual Fund Transaction Processing Administrator - Responsibilities: • Pre-screen, prepare, and input all financial and various non-financial transactions by standard cut-off times • Monitor and clear Workflow/Capture items within Service Level Agreements (SLA) • Apply all quality control procedures • Reconcile and settle daily trades • Manage daily deposits and cheque processes • Message all accounts where unusual actions have occurred • Audit transactions, question procedures, and suggest improvements to processes • Communicate effectively with both internal and external client groups Mutual Fund Transaction Processing Administrator - Mandatory Skills: • 1-2 years demonstrated background with Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund administration • Sound knowledge of Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund taxation and compliance/regulation • Excellent English communication skills • Effective resolution of escalated client or process issues • Accuracy and attention to detail • Positive impact through effective management of workflow and support of team Mutual Fund Transaction Processing Administrator – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Completion of IFIC Mutual Funds Operations Course • Unitrax Recordkeeping System knowledge • FundSERV knowledge • Ability to read/write French Mutual Fund Transaction Processing Administrator – Assignment Length: This is a 6-month temporary position.
