Job summary

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations within a complex, multi-employee environment. Responsibilities Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the payroll team Review and validate employee payroll data and compensation-related changes Ensure payroll deductions, benefits, and other payments are processed accurately and on schedule Maintain compliance with applicable payroll legislation, regulations, and company policies Oversee payroll reconciliations, audits, year-end processes, and required reporting Serve as a key resource for payroll systems, including UKG Pro and UKG WFM, supporting configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and enhancements Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes, improve automation, and strengthen controls Prepare and maintain payroll reports, documentation, and reconciliation processes Resolve payroll issues and respond to inquiries from employees and internal stakeholders Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and external partners on payroll-related initiatives and system improvements Perform other related duties as required Requirements 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership experience PLP designation is an asset Experience supporting payroll system implementations or enhancements Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, and year-end processes Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience in a complex or multi-location payroll environment is an asset Strong experience with payroll systems and technology Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and confidentiality If you’re an experienced payroll leader with strong UKG expertise and are looking for an opportunity to make an impact across payroll operations, systems, and process improvement, apply now! What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires over 7 years of progressive payroll and leadership experience, with strong proficiency in UKG systems and advanced Excel. A PLP designation and experience with system implementations are considered assets.
