In training the world's newest flight crews, it is essential to ensure the highest level of safety and quality in maintaining the College's fleet of aircraft. MFC Training is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Training Coordinator in Moncton, NB. The primary focus of this role will be responsibility for all scheduled activities. This person will look to achieve efficiencies through students and instructor schedules across operational and ground school requirements. This person will work closely with the Program Manager of student training to ensure all schedules are appropriate. Duties and Responsibilities: * Ensure that the daily operational schedule is efficiently and effectively booked; * Review and update associated trackers to ensure appropriate bookings are made; * Monitor students loaded to the scheduling tracker to ensure the accurate completion of training times; * Coordinate operational briefings with students for the 300nm CPL cross-country lessons; * Attend daily operations meeting to review schedule activities; * Hold scheduling team meetings and maintain minutes and log of action plans and initiatives; * Create, schedule and edit ground school classes for each group; * Ensure staff coverage for each phase/subject of ground school topics; * Track student performance in class exams and Transport Canada exams; * Review and update associated trackers to ensure appropriate bookings are made; * Arrange remedial training for any unsuccessful student attempts; * Maintain ground school content up to date with updates to content as applicable; * Review exams and ensure content and questions are up to date and accurate; * Approve payroll for staff reporting into the position (scheduling and GS instructors) * Hire, train, supervise and provide recurrent training as required * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Community college diploma in business administration or related equivalent experience * Minimum 2 years relevant work experience. * Supervisory experience preferred.
