The Psychological Trauma and Stress Systems (PTSS) Lab led by Dr. R. Nicholas Carleton at the University of Regina, is dedicated to conducting groundbreaking research to enhance the mental health and resilience of trauma-exposed professionals including first responders and other public safety personnel (PSP), healthcare workers, military members, and Veterans. Our research initiatives focus on understanding and mitigating posttraumatic stress injuries (PTSIs) while developing evidence-based solutions for trauma-exposed professionals, their leaders, and their families.

The Research Associate will support research projects by developing surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing academic publications and lay summaries. They will also assist with grant development and provide guidance to graduate students and staff.
