Technology Sales Representative Locations: Toronto, Ontario & Vancouver, British Columbia Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Sales Position Overview We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Technology Sales Representative to join our growing sales team in Toronto and Vancouver. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, identifying technology needs, and delivering solutions that create measurable value for clients. The ideal candidate is a consultative salesperson who understands the technology landscape, is comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers, and has a proven ability to build a strong pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on new customer acquisition and revenue growth. - Prospect for new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, social selling, events, and other channels. - Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, executives, IT leaders, and other key decision-makers. - Understand customers' business and technology challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. - Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and sales proposals. - Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation, closing, and handoff to the delivery team. - Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts using the company's CRM. - Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. - Identify opportunities for additional services and solutions within existing accounts. - Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, competitors, and customer requirements. - Work closely with technical, marketing, and operations teams to develop compelling solutions and proposals. - Attend networking events, industry conferences, and customer meetings throughout the Toronto or Vancouver market. - Develop long-term strategic relationships that generate repeat and referral business. Ideal Candidate - 3+ years of experience in technology, IT services, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, software, or related B2B sales. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Strong prospecting and business-development skills. - Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities. - Comfortable selling to C-level executives and senior IT decision-makers. - Consultative selling approach with the ability to understand business problems rather than simply sell products. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Self-motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial. - Experience using CRM and sales automation tools. - Ability to travel locally for customer meetings and business development. - Post-secondary education in business, technology, or a related field is an asset.
