Job Summary The live-in Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. The PSW is a live-in who is on call during weekdays. Responsibilities Transfer from bed to wheel chair Personal care and hygiene Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Medication Assist/ Reminders Provide companionship to clients Ability to follow care-plan Documentation/Charting Qualifications Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student). Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Access to Internet/mobile phone

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent qualification, such as nursing training. Additionally, current CPR/First Aid certification and a negative TB test result are required.
