Quik’s Farm Ltd. is a cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and an additional 35 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high-quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA. We are currently hiring for a Shipping and Order Fulfilment Assistant. The Shipping and Order Fulfilment Assistant supports the accurate and timely preparation and shipment of customer orders. This hands-on role involves picking products, verifying order details, staging shipments, and assisting with loading and inventory activities while maintaining product quality and safe handling practices. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Pick and prepare products according to customer orders and specifications. Follow daily order-pulling priorities and direction from the Order Fulfillment Lead. Verify product quantities, varieties, packaging, and order details for accuracy. Follow cold-chain handling and first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices to maintain product quality and minimize time outside coolers. Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts where trained and authorized. Stage completed orders according to shipping schedules, customer requirements, and company standards. Assist with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently. Support inventory management and cycle counts and identify inventory discrepancies. Report shortages, order discrepancies, delays, equipment issues, and other concerns to the Order Fulfillment Lead. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support daily fulfillment activities and other operational duties as assigned. Qualifications And Requirements Experience in order fulfillment, shipping, warehousing, or a similar environment is an asset. Strong attention to detail when picking products and verifying orders. Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving products, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to work in cooler environments and follow product handling requirements. Forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset; equipment use requires appropriate training and authorization. There will be no Sunday work.
