Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Belleville, ON. In this role, the Sales Associate builds and maintains relationships with local businesses, identifies client needs, and recommends appropriate advertising and marketing solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new clients, conducting sales calls and meetings, preparing proposals, and following up to ensure client satisfaction. The Sales Associate collaborates with internal teams to coordinate campaign details, track performance, and address client questions or concerns. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales records, meeting sales targets, and representing the company professionally at community and industry events. Qualifications Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with effective interpersonal and client-service skills. Solid communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional email writing, and active listening. Basic sales and negotiation skills, including prospecting, presenting solutions, and handling objections. Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and follow-ups. Comfort with using office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and learning sales or CRM systems. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and independently to achieve individual and team sales goals. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or media/advertising is an asset. High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is an advantage. Willingness to work on-site in Belleville, ON and occasionally attend external client meetings or local events.
