Buffer/GrinderWe are currently seeking new candidates to fill various positions on both of our shifts. The buffer/grinder position involves using a portable hand grinder to buff excess material from our welded products.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:1 year experience in a production environment preferredAbility to work in a fast paced environmentExperience with hand tools, power tools, compressed air tools, portable hand grinder an assetAble to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision at timesQuality-minded with attention to detailMust have a good attendance and health and safety recordMust be able to work well in a team environmentMust be able to bend, twist, squat, work overhead and lift up to 50lbsWe have 2 shifts:Day shift: Monday through Thursday 7am ? 4:30 pm; Friday 7am ? 2:30pmAfternoon shift: Monday through Thursday 5pm ? 2:30am; Friday 3pm ? 10:30pmCompensation:Hourly wage to be determined, commensurate with skill and experience for 43 hours weekly with the opportunity to expand earnings with the right attitude, aptitude and attendance.Health and dental benefits after 6 monthsRRSP matching program after 6 monthsUniform and boot allowance after 6 monthsAttendance bonus program after 3 monthsPlease note, this location is not bus accessible.Accommodations are available upon request to support your participation during all stages of the recruitment process
