Pay Rate: $27.89/hour, depending on experience Contract Length: 6 Months Location: Vancouver, British Columbia Raise is currently hiring a Recruitment Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.. Description The Recruitment Coordinator in this role will support recruitment coordination and NERC-related background check administration, including managing personal risk assessments, background checks, and record updates for employees and contractors. This role works closely with Recruitment Partners (RP) and hiring managers to deliver efficient, compliant, and high-volume talent acquisition operations. Responsibilities Process & Workflow Coordination: Maintain clear communication with Recruitment Partners to facilitate applicant screening, selection, and hiring workflows, including non-posted recruitment and managing internal bidding eligibility. Administrative & Posting Management: Execute legally compliant role postings, manage refreshes, coordinate candidate interviews and travel, and process associated candidate reimbursements. Compliance & Background Administration: Facilitate NERC-related background checks, personal risk assessments, reference checks, and compliance activities while maintaining accurate records and handling invoicing. Candidate Communication & Testing: Serve as the primary first responder for applicant inquiries, communicate test and medical results, organize start dates, and support candidates when Recruitment Partners are unavailable. Sourcing & Process Improvement: Assist with initial applicant screening using supporting scripts, support talent pipeline development for specialty roles, maintain interview question banks, and participate in process standardization initiatives. Qualifications Hands-on experience working within applicant tracking software and advanced proficiency with spreadsheets for managing high-volume data. Excellent coordination, organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills with strong attention to detail. Advanced English skills for a professional environment, encompassing written communication, verbal interaction, facilitation, and group presentations. Demonstrated background coordinating interviews, high-volume recruitment workflows, compliance tracking, and managing multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. Education and Certifications Certificate in Human Resources or a related field (CPHR designation considered an asset). Additional Information Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment. Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”.
