Job summary

Mutual Funds Associate Contract How does the role impact the organization? The Mutual Funds Associate will be responsible for supporting the Systematic Plans and Non-Financial Updates functions within the department. Responsibilities will include reviewing and submitting Systematic Plan instructions to fund companies, following up with Non-Financial updates submitted through XML to fund companies, and processing Internal Transfers requests. Due to the time sensitivity of these functions, the successful candidate must possess excellent time management skills and an exceptional attention to detail. What is the position responsible for? Submit and follow up on mutual fund systematic plan requests at fund companies; Process internal transfer of RJL mutual fund positions using FundSERV; Manually submit internal transfer requests to mutual fund companies; Submit advisor and client demographic information to mutual fund companies; Review and forward for processing all manual Segregated Fund and Offbook Account applications; and Assist/backup other team members as needed. Qualifications Fundamental knowledge of investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry; Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to learn new applications; Customer service, organization, and prioritization; The ability to work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail; Demonstrate advanced face-to-face, email, videoconferencing, and telephone etiquette and relationship management skills; Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; Demonstrate a professional manner to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization; Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information. Educational/Previous Experience Requirements A minimum of 2 years of industry related experience. Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
