Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is a full-time/ Part Time, on-site role based in Thornhill, ON. The RMT will provide therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments tailored to individual patient needs, including assessing conditions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate clinical records. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing a variety of massage techniques, educating patients on stress management and self-care strategies, and collaborating with other wellness professionals to support integrated care. The RMT will also uphold clinic standards for cleanliness, safety, and professionalism, while delivering attentive, respectful, and high-quality patient service. Qualifications Strong therapeutic massage skills, including body massage and Shiatsu, with the ability to adapt techniques to individual patient needs. Demonstrated ability in stress management and wellness education to support patient relaxation and recovery. Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to build trust with diverse patients. Valid registration and good standing with the appropriate provincial massage therapy regulatory body (e.g., CMTO), and eligibility to practice in Ontario. Knowledge of professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality in a clinical setting. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain accurate treatment documentation. Availability to work a full-time or part time schedule, including possible evenings or weekends, as required by clinic operations. Experience in a wellness or pain clinic setting are considered assets.
