Job Description What is the opportunity? The Dominion Securities Branch in Edmonton is currently seeking an Associate to join an advisory team. By joining the team, you will participate in growing the business by providing exceptional and efficient service and by taking care of administrative duties related to client accounts and by responding to client inquiries. What will you do? Reviews day-to-day execution of private banking deals to ensure quality and efficiency. Monitors private banking business performance and market conditions when implementing new private banking services. Introduces products and services to high net worth clients. Builds relationships with internal and external customers through the utilization of appropriate tools or technologies. Responsible for the professional servicing of incoming telephone and email contacts from clients, Advisors and other internal and external partners Supports the Investment Advisors in general administrative duties in the management of client accounts Supports the Investment Advisors in the preparation of client reviews and presentations Requests information and documentation from clients in order to open accounts and keep client files up to date Follows up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery Monitors all pending transfers to ensure completion on a timely basis What do you need to succeed? Must-have Post Secondary Education (College or University) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE Relevant experience in the financial services industry Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills Nice-to-have Dominion Securities (DS) or Retail Brokerage work experience Enthusiastic, committed, and entrepreneurial spirit What’s in it for you?
