Driver-Loader - Millwork Are you someone who takes pride in getting the details right, working safely, and making sure finished products arrive on site on time and damage-free? Do you enjoy a hands-on role where every day is a little different? First Choice Millwork is a Calgary-based commercial millwork manufacturer with a team of about 30 people. We are looking for a Driver-Loader to support our Shipping team by packaging, loading, securing, and delivering finished architectural millwork to job sites. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, physically capable, and comfortable interacting with customers and trades on site. The position is based in Calgary, with deliveries both within and outside city limits. Primary Responsibilities Package, load, secure, and deliver finished architectural millwork safely and efficiently so products arrive on time and free from damage. Follow FCM documentation procedures, including trip reports and bills of lading; identify discrepancies and report them to the supervisor for confirmation and quality assurance. Transport finished products to job sites within and outside Calgary city limits. Operate company vehicles and forklifts in compliance with transportation and safety requirements. Follow and maintain the vehicle maintenance program and report vehicle concerns promptly. Communicate professionally with customers and trades to support hassle-free, timely deliveries. Create and maintain accurate records of loads and deliveries. Keep the shipping bay and parking lot organized and clean. Participate actively in First Choice Millwork’s health and safety program and complete other duties as assigned. What You Bring To The Team Experience: Experience in shipping and delivering finished products is preferred; commercial millwork experience is an asset. Physical Capability: Physically fit and able to safely perform regular material handling, including lifting heavy finished products. Driving Experience: Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a 3-ton truck or similar vehicle and using cargo trailers. Equipment & Technical Skills: Forklift experience and comfort using Microsoft Office and required shipping documentation. Education: Minimum Grade 12 education with relevant work experience. Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to customers, trades, and coworkers. Organization & Reliability: Able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean record and have experience driving a 3-ton truck or similar vehicle. A minimum Grade 12 education is required, along with physical fitness for material handling and proficiency in forklift operation and Microsoft Office.
