Branch Administrator (Banking Sector) Take the opportunity to join the banking industry with our client in a dynamic and evolving environment. By contributing to operational management, team support, and the coordination of multiple essential activities, you will play a key role in the branch’s success while growing within a culture that values collaboration, professional development, leadership, and customer service excellence. Responsibilities: • Promote a client-focused culture to deepen relationships and leverage the organization’s expertise, systems, and partnerships. • Manage branch support staff, including coaching, development, performance management, motivation, employee recognition, and staff meetings. • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement through recruitment, onboarding, training, HR administration, and employee records management. • Oversee branch operations, resolve system issues, coordinate advisor onboarding, manage facilities and secure access, and liaise with corporate teams. • Manage new issue allocations, monitor positions, perform reconciliations, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders. • Implement compliance procedures to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, including privacy and anti-money laundering regulations. • Maintain branch compliance records, support client complaint resolution, approve trade corrections, and serve as a key contact during internal audits. • Communicate policies, procedures, system enhancements, initiatives, and organizational changes to relevant teams. • Monitor continuing education requirements for licensed employees. • Support branch budgeting and financial management, including budget preparation, monitoring, and expense management. • Assist advisory teams with inquiries related to commissions, human resources, and team operations. • Demonstrate leadership that promotes employee development, engagement, accountability, and performance. • Organize coaching sessions, identify training needs, manage staffing requirements and workloads, and participate in monthly conference calls. • Understand and apply the organization’s risk culture and risk appetite in daily activities and decision-making. • Ensure efficient operations aligned with organizational values, the code of ethics, sales practices, and compliance requirements. • Promote a highly productive and inclusive work environment. What you will need to succeed: Required qualifications • Postsecondary education. • Completion of all education, examination, and training requirements necessary for licensing and registration as an Investment Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO). • 5+ years of experience in the investment industry. • Industry experience. • Supervisory experience. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Previous support role experience is considered an asset. • French and English for communications with clients and business partners. Core competencies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong management and organizational skills. • Ability to take initiative and work independently. • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
