Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional client service by supporting one or more investment advisors with periodic client portfolio reviews to validate client needs, risk profiles, and applicable investment programs. • Gather research and product information from internal and external sources. • Process client transactions according to client or advisor instructions. • Maintain current knowledge of regulations and trading activities applicable to client accounts. • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding regulatory documentation. • Maintain accurate client records and information in the appropriate systems. • Review daily transactions and data entries to ensure accuracy and timely processing. • Respond promptly to client inquiries, resolve issues, process transactions accurately, and escalate matters when required. • Issue instructions for withdrawals, deposits, swaps, and transfers in accordance with client or advisor directions. • Accurately document all client interactions. • Understand the documentation requirements for various client account types. • Support marketing initiatives by identifying opportunities to gather additional assets or increase revenue from existing clients. • Assist with the organization of client events, including seminars, conferences, and appreciation events. • Maintain or coordinate electronic marketing activities. • Manage the approval process for marketing communications and mass mailings. • Support business growth by reviewing restricted accounts, monitoring commissions and payouts, and participating in the Bank referral process. • Prepare, analyze, and present reports, recommendations, financial plans or concepts, insurance proposals, and annual transaction summaries for advisor review. • Recommend improvements to operational processes, client value creation, and the effective use of specialist teams. • Build effective working relationships with team members and internal partners. • Actively participate in team meetings, share knowledge, and contribute to the development of team members. • Perform all duties in compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies and procedures, compliance requirements, and risk management practices. What you will need to succeed: • Postsecondary diploma. • Meet all applicable education, examination, and training requirements to obtain licensing and registration as an Investment Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO). • 1 year of experience in a similar role. • Bilingual in English and French to support investment advisors and provide client service in both languages. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to take initiative and work independently. • Ability to meet deadlines. • Understanding of industry regulations or the organization's compliance requirements. • Ability to follow advisor instructions regarding client trading activities.
