Job summary

Print and Mail Insertion Operator Become part of a team focused on delivering high-quality print and document services in a professional production setting. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment that values accuracy, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. What is in it for you: • Hourly salary of $21. • 4-month contract. • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week. • Weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. • On-site work in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. • Work with the Lead Print Operator to review production schedules. • Determine output requirements. • Perform document setup and manipulation as required. • Review and approve proofs to ensure quality meets or exceeds customer requirements. • Insert multiple documents into envelopes. • Program jobs into insertion equipment. • Perform maintenance and repairs in high-frequency service areas to maximize uptime. • Resolve production issues. • Maintain production equipment and replenish supplies. • Monitor supply inventory. • Provide backup support for processing Loomis deliveries. • Perform other duties as required. • Act as a backup delivery driver. What you will need to succeed: Required qualifications • Post-secondary technology training or equivalent experience. • Valid driver's licence. • 1+ year of experience working in a print shop environment. Required Competencies • Ability to operate large centralized digital equipment. • Ability to identify production inconsistencies and quality issues. • Ability to use PC applications in a networked environment. • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English. • Ability to listen, understand, and communicate effectively. • Willingness to learn and develop. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Primelink Printers. • Experience with FreeFlow. • Experience with Bell & Howell insertion equipment. • Experience with NeoPost/Quadient mail machines. • Experience with Pitney Bowes insertion machines.
